Privacy policy

Data collected

• Account: username, email address and password (stored encrypted, never in clear text).
• Activity: vote and purchase history, virtual currency balance, creation and last-login dates.
• Technical: IP address, used for security (login rate limiting, limit on the number of accounts per IP).

Purposes

This data is used to create and secure the account, deliver in-game purchases, manage vote rewards, prevent fraud and abusive multi-accounting, and send service emails (activation, password reset).

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe, which collects the data needed for the transaction. Shadow Rappelz neither receives nor stores any card data. See Stripe's privacy policy for that processing.

Retention and sharing

Data is kept for as long as the account exists. It is never sold or handed to third parties, except the strictly necessary technical providers (hosting, email delivery, payment).

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct and delete your data. Username, email and password can be changed from the member area. For any other request, contact the team on Discord.

Cookies

The site only uses cookies necessary for it to work: login session and language preference. No advertising or third-party tracking cookie is set.
